Every city has its landmarks. The places everyone photographs. The buildings that appear on postcards, travel brochures, and social media feeds. But the real character of a place is rarely found there. It's in the streets where everyday life quietly unfolds. In the conversations you can't understand but somehow still feel. In the faces that tell stories without a single word. In markets filled with colour, children playing without noticing the camera, musicians performing for strangers, and people simply going about their day. These are the moments that reveal far more about a place than any famous monument ever could. Whether walking through the ancient streets of Stone Town, spending time with the Hadzabe Bushmen of Tanzania, exploring the landscapes of Jordan, or wandering the cities of Canada, my goal has always been the same. Not to collect photographs of places, but to discover the people and moments that give those places their soul. Because long after we forget the names of the streets we walked, we remember the people we met along the way.
